How do you reset computer for drive belt on Brute Force 750?

Belt warning light came on[not flashing]. Replaced belt put it back together now warning light is flashing with rev limiter on.How do I reset computer Also is the switch in belt cover suppose to be on or off? How do you reset computer for drive belt on Brute Force 750?First you have to disconnect the two pin belt sensor plug on top of the belt housing on the right side of the machine on top of the belt housing. Then under the seat there's a black male/female plug. Next to it is an identical grey male/female plug that only has a wire loop pugged into it and doesn't go anywhere. Switch the black and grey plugs and turn the key on. The light goes through a diagnostic and blinks fast a number of times then starts blinking slow. Let it blink slow for at least 30 seconds or more. After it's blinked slow for 30 seconds, turn the key off, plug them back like they were and it should be reset. Replug the sensor plug on top of the belt housing and you should be good to go.
