How do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?

They are all different sizes but I don't know which is which. I need to know because I am replacing them and my timing belt. Thanks! How do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?if you havent already taken the belts off prior to taking them of put a tag or masking tape and label what they came of then compare to the newer belts for size the ones now they probly stretched a little if there old but they should be close to the same length as the new belts about best i can tell ya

also dont mess with the timing belt if you have no experience as you could seriously mess up the engine by having it off by a couple teethHow do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?ask the parts store easy tell them you need to replace all the belts

many cars only have one

some have two

some have three or more

to know which part a belt runs you need to know parts of the car

type into search box

what is a alternator

what is a power steerring unit

what is a ac unit

dont really need to know to get belts just ask parts store for them all

and if your going to mess with timing belt you might want to get a repair manual while your there

cant really mess up a simple belt change but mess up timing by one or two teeth and your stuckHow do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?Well first of all they all run on one belt(serpentine belt). If you go right up to auto-zone or advanced auto part they should point you to one belt.Once you obtain the belt just refer to the diagram under your vehicles hood and make shure you install it according to the instructions.Remember, there is a belt tensioner that the belt goes around that makes the job 10 times easier its a bit difficult to explain. How do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?if you cant tell then you shouldnt work on it.How do I tell between my alternator belt, a/c belt, and power steering belt on my 1996 Honda Civic Ex?If you can't change the stupid accessory belts, I would avoid doing the timing belt altogether.
