How do you replace the drive belt on a 93 chevy cavalier?

My 93 chevy cavalier needs the drive belt replaced. My dad tried to replace it but the belt he bought was a factory belt and it's like an inch short, he went and bought a different belt which is a dealer belt and that is now to big. Apparently the first belt he bought (the factory belt) is supposed to be the right size. Anyone know how to get the belt on there? How do you replace the drive belt on a 93 chevy cavalier?there is a belt tensioner in the front of the engine that looks like a flat round silver pulley. You need to use a wrench or socket on the nut in the center of the tensioner to turn it. As you turn the tensioner it releases the tension on the belt and you can remove the belt. Then when you put the new belt on you have to again turn the tensioner to the 'remove' position to get the belt on. releasing the tensioner will make the belt 'fit'How do you replace the drive belt on a 93 chevy cavalier?Make sire you %26quot;route the belt properly. there should be a diagram somewhere under the hood or on radiator support cover. If you don't route it right it will not fit.How do you replace the drive belt on a 93 chevy cavalier? This is the belt routing for the 2.2L 4 cyl, without A/C.......http://www.mvreader.com/multiview/dayco/
