What is this belt called and how much does it cost to replace?

Have a Dodge Ram truck and when I open the hood, there's a large belt on the engine that's visible. I noticed that about 1/4 inch of the belt was cut off for some reason. I removed that part. The rest of the belt seems kinda cracked.

what is this belt called and how much does it cost? What is this belt called and how much does it cost to replace?Serpentine belt probably. Not all that expensive. Under 50 bucks I thinkWhat is this belt called and how much does it cost to replace?Serpentine belt. A good one $30. There will be an idler pulley ( pulley only to belt ) not alt. or p.s. Take a wrench and the idler pulley will shift and loosen to replace. Put new belt in, and MAKE SURE it's lined up properly and then put tension back on by the pulley you loosened up. If you have rhem then plastic gloves are nice. They fit good enough to work and you will get dirty without them. What is this belt called and how much does it cost to replace?Serpentine belt. If it is cracked it needs to be replaced. That is dry rot, and will cause it to fail. What is this belt called and how much does it cost to replace?Serpentine belt..they cost a lot 40 to 60 dollars and 30 to 60 to have installed...long way from 5 dollar belts you could install yourself in 5 min..ahh good old days
