1994 Ford Escort LX i Steering heavy, snapped belt, how much to fix?

Only bought the car two weeks ago.Whilst driving i heard a noise when i accellerated. Steering became very heavy. Managed to get home, when i stopped i noticed a belt had snapped and some fluid leaked from the engine. How much will this cost to me to repair if i buy the spares and get a friend to fit?1994 Ford Escort LX i Steering heavy, snapped belt, how much to fix?Belts are usually $10-20. You need to find the source of the fluid leak and fix it. Replacing the belt and topping up the power steering fluid will get your steering working right again.1994 Ford Escort LX i Steering heavy, snapped belt, how much to fix?dont bother, the car might be 1994 but the engine is the old peice of **** they fitted to the mk fiesta in the 70's its about time you got something a little better. the belt is only about 6 and only takes a few mins to change i certainly wouldn worry bout the leak because the engine wont last long enough for all the oil to drain out anyway1994 Ford Escort LX i Steering heavy, snapped belt, how much to fix?take it to scrapyard
