How can I get white paint off my black leather belt without damaging it?

The belt has a slight glossy finish to it. I think the paint is a scruff mark from bumping into a wall.How can I get white paint off my black leather belt without damaging it?Have you tried windex? It sounds like it might be a latex scruff mark..if the windex does not work then maybe try a tiny amount of finger nail polish remover (using a Q-tip).
